Frequently asked questions.
Do I need a visa to travel to Thailand?
No, HOWEVER, as of June 2025, you will be required to fill out an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) online prior to boarding your flight to Thailand. It is valid for up to 60 days so please fill it out no sooner than 2 months before your arrival in Thailand. Our RSVP coordinator will reach out directly with more information on that once it goes into effect.
Are there any travel precautions I need to take?
There are no vaccine requirements to travel to Thailand but as with any tropical destination, we recommend bringing mosquito repellent to help avoid bug bites.

Can I bring a plus one? What about my kids?
We are so excited to celebrate this special day with those who have been personally invited to join us. We kindly ask that only our invited guests attend the celebration. This is indicated on your invitation.
What will the weather be like?
November in Phuket is gorgeous! Expect high 80s during the day to low 70s in the evening with mild humidity. Please note that daytime events will be outdoors while evening events will be held indoors. We recommend packing clothes that are light and breathable for the daytime events.
What is the currency? How much should I bring?
Thailand currency is the Thai baht. We recommend having at minimum 5,000 Thai baht on hand during your stay here. You can bring up to $20,000 USD or 500,000 TBH without declaring it to customs.
Can I bring jewelry to Thailand?
Yes you can! If you are stopped at customs, please inform them that you are attending a wedding. We recommend having a physical copy of the wedding invitation or save the date on hand.
I don’t understand the dress code.
Don’t worry! We’ve put together a wardrobe planner to help you put together your best looks. Please refer to the wardrobe planner tab!
